Edward J. Quilice has been an associate with Silverstein Law P.C. since it was established in 2017, and at its predecessor firm, Schwartz & Silverstein, LLP since 2013. 

Edward leads the firm’s landlord/tenant practice.  He represents both corporate and individual landlords in connection with commercial and residential eviction proceedings. These matters involve market rental properties, cooperative apartments, adult homes, assisted living facilities, Section 8 and subsidized housing properties, and often are subject to various Federal, State and local regulations.

Edward also represents commercial and corporate clients in connection with transactions involving the formation and operating of businesses and joint ventures; the acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of commercial, industrial and multi-family real estate; and the preparation of contracts, shareholder and operating agreements, contractor agreements, and distribution and marketing agreements.

In addition, Edward represents condominiums, homeowner associations and cooperative housing corporations in connection with all aspects of their operation.

He holds a law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (2010), where he graduated with concentrations in both commercial and corporate law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from CUNY Hunter College in Political Science (2006), graduating from its Special Honors Program Magna Cum Laude.

Edward is admitted to practice in New York (2011) and New Jersey (2011). Before becoming an associate at Schwartz & Silverstein, LLP, the predecessor to Silverstein Law P.C., he practiced as a bankruptcy associate with a bankruptcy firm in Orange County, New York, where he represented individuals seeking relief under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the bankruptcy code.
